Around here however, we don’t look
backwards for very long. We keep
moving forward, opening new doors
and doing new things, because we’re
curious . . . and curiosity keeps
leading us down new paths.
~Walt Disney~
I could not, at any age, be content to take
my place by the fireside and simply look on.
Life was meant to be lived. Curiosity must be
kept alive. One must never, for whatever
reason, turn his back on life.
~Eleanor Roosevelt~
Now that I am nearing my 64th birthday next month I am often drawn to older people who are living full and vibrant lives with gusto and joy, and, not only admire them, but want to discover what makes them so. One of the ubiquitous traits I see is a keen interest in life – an innate curiosity and an openness to try new things. The other day I saw an interview with the actress, Betty White, who will be 90 years old in January. She is a fabulous role model for us women who are discovering what it means to grow old gracefully while remaining energetic, dynamic, spirited and vital. I, for one, am happy to follow my curiosity down new paths and keep moving forward.
Everything that is new or uncommon raises
a pleasure in the imagination because it fills
the soul with an agreeable surprise, gratifies
its curiosity, and gives it an idea of which
it was not possessed.
~Joseph Addison~

These Photos are so incredible Thanks!
Love you!
The first photo was taken in the late afternoon when the sun was hitting the buildings downtown and the moon was just hanging there in all it’s glory. I love this amazing view I get to look out at every day.
