To Pay Attention

To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.

~Mary Oliver~

Instuctions for living life. Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.

~Mary Oliver~

It’s hard NOT to pay attention to the beauty that surrounds me here. I am constantly stopped in my tracks – astonished by what’s in front of me, and I certainly enjoy telling you about it.

Ten times a day something happens to me like this – some strengthening throb of amazement – some good sweet emphatic ping and swell. This is the first, the wildest and wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.

Have an AMAZING day!
