This and That

Waking up to beauty

There is a voice that doesn’t use words.

Evening sky

When you awaken love and laughter
in your life, our mind lets go of fear
and anxiety, and your happy spirit
becomes the healing balm that
transforms every aspect of
your human experience.

~Jesse Dylan~

Night lights

I think I don’t regret a single “excess”
of my youth – I only regret, in my
chilled age, certain occasions and
possibilities I didn’t embrace.

~Henry James~

Seattle skyline

When you really consider the everyday
things around you, they start
to seem like tiny miracles.

~Amy Sheam~

This morning’s sky

Somewhere in there, among the worries,
questions, advise, and advertising jingles
lives your intuition, your true ‘inner voice’.
You can hear it to the extent that
you give it your attention.

~Martha Beck~

Night cruise

Don’t delay your happiness until some
nonexistent utopia finds you.  Focus on
the present and enhance your time and
life now rather than always
working for tomorrow.

~Dr. Laura Berman~

The Space Needle

There are so many wise words floating out there in cyber space and on the written page, and doesn’t it seem that there is always one insightful message that catches your attention on a certain day?  “When the student is ready the teacher appears”.  There are teachers everywhere ready to “whisper” into our ears – all we have to do is be open to the message and listen.  I like to think of it as my guardian angel looking after my happiness and well-being.
