He who receives his friends and gives no personal
attention to the meal which is being prepared for
them, is not worthy of having friends.
This is one of the amazing dinners Ed and I had with our dear friends, Susan and Bob last week at their home in Washington, Maine. The beautiful meal was definitely worthy of our friendship! The baby back ribs came from locally, humanely and ethically raised pigs, the kale from Susan’s garden and the corn from another local farm. The food was absolutely delicious – satisfying both body and soul. A lot of love went into this dinner. Sharing food and wine with friends is definitely one of life’s greatest delights.
